is one of the busiest vocalists in the Los Angeles area, performing in more than 80 live Jazz, Soul and R & B events a year.

His Nu Lu Band is known for it's stunning tribute to the great baritones Lou Rawls and Barry White.

 

Jay has performed on bills with some of the biggest names in Jazz including Nancy Wilson, Pancho Sanchez, Sheila E., Oleta Adams, Barbara Morrison and more!

 

Jay has performed in some of LA's most prestigious music venues such as Catalina Bar and Grill, H.O.M.E. Beverly Hills, Typhoon Restaurant, and the posh Bar 1912 in the Beverly Hills Hotel.  

 

Jay was trained at the prestigious LoDuca Brothers Music Academy in Milwaukee, first on piano, then switching to voice.  His sound has been called a unique mix of Lou Rawls, Barry White and Brook Benton.
